Ashley was born a month ahead of schedule, and weighed about 3lbs. The ICU was her home for one month. The parents were told that her heart was going to need surgery Christmas Day. Christmas Day was the day the doctors verified to her parents what they had long prayed for. Ashley was admitted to hospital. Her parents were informed. Ashley never needed any surgeries. Within two months of hospitalization her weight was just 4 1/2 lbs when she was released. Since her release, she's healthy! Her father is English and German origin. The family that she is from is from Ireland. In 2002, Ashley first made an appearance in an advertisement for her Salon Surprise Barbie Doll. Ashley's career was furthered after the Ford Modeling Agency approached her at age 8. She has worked consistently and remains at the Agency. She wanted to be an actor from the age of just 10. Ashley was in the cast of 35 commercials. Later, she moved to roles in the theatre. Ashley now has a passion for acting. Ashley has devoted her entire time to the field of acting. Modeling and dancing have been left behind. Ashley's last appearance on ABC Family Pretty Little Liars was as "Hanna Marin". Ashley played a brief part in Romeo Miller's (aka Lil Romeo's) music video "True Love" and was portrayed by Solange along with Romeo Miller. Britney Spears also appeared in a Vogue Magazine photoshoot. The singer is in NLT "That Girl" which is a music video.
