As a Pennsylvania resident, Kolber received her graduate education in The University of Miami. Her career in the field began when she was the Video Coordinator at CBS Sports, New York City. When she was working for WTVJ-TV, Miami, she received the Sports Emmy. Other jobs she held included WPLG-TV Miami as well as WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. In 1993 she was chosen for anchoring the first season of ESPN2's debut. After three years, she resigned from ESPN2 to join Fox Sports. Then she returned to ESPN in 1999. She hosts Monday Night Countdown.
